Marion County Courthouse Restoration

Originally a roofing project, Marion County Courthouse in Knoxville, Iowa built in 1896, Nation Register of Historic Places, required vasts amounts of restoration including complete structural modifications, complete rebuilding of masonry dormers and gable walls, complete re-decking and included remodeling the entire 4th floor of the building. This also entailed all new mechanicals on the floor. Renaissance Roofing was responsible for all aspects of this work and acted as the general contractor on the project.

The roofing and gutter systems which included extensive copper flashings, copper gutters, copper cornice, copper vents, copper snow guards, custom copper ridge system and flat seam copper roofs were all completed by Renaissance Roofing, Inc employees.

This project exceeded $3.4 million dollars in total scope and required an 18 month effort to complete.
